riting and music were the most prevalent ways that Jeff expressed himself. Powerful emotional times were followed by loud music, most often Metallica, and Jeff lying on his bed, on the phone and writing poetry. It was in this poetry and music that Jeff was able to express love, hate, frustration, dreams and visions. Sadly, many of his writings are unfinished. Some leave off in mid-sentence.

ne of my favorite poems written by Jeff at the age of fifteen is "Sister Of Light". I remember reading it over and over and asking him again and again if he really had written this. I was in awe of the talent and vision of such a young soul. I'm still in awe.

eff's most recent endeavors involved writing songs and music. "Tonight" is a song he wrote for his girlfriend, Ginny.
